When the first Sunshine Grow Shops opened in 1984 James Ellis was there working hand in hand with his brothers and mother; of which James say’s he learned how to work with the public from his mother, “She had a genuine love of people… and a strong desire to help them” James said of his mother, “She was the best person I have ever known… And her customers viewed her as family… because she was”.
